that would take a lot of patience, and a lot of knowledge.......... therefore, no, i have not done this, but i know of how to mod my controller a little bit (i.e. changing it's color, and the jewel encased in the middle)

wtf?! i've read numerous articles on XBOX modding, and ive never heard of XBOX controller working for PC games,...

    hmph

but you can mod the xbox controller to act as a usb boot device, port over some code from it and have an excelent linux xbox.

It is possible... Since the x-box ports are just moddified USB ports. Though it would be cheaper and easier just to get a good gamepad, I guess the satisfaction might be enough

so any xbox controller can just be cut, and spliced into a normal usb end connector, as long as you have the right wires going to the right places?

somehow, i'm sure you can get the memory card to work then right? then you can transferr thignsto and fro your computer? maybe.... am i right? or am i an idiot?

Why don't you spend $8 on a PC gamepad instead of fucking a perfectly good $25 console pad?

all you'd need as far as drivers go is one that would work for a 10 button controller with 2 control sticks....... which i might add, is not easy to find, but IS out there somewhere........ god knows where
