Surely you meant to say battlefield 3, and link us to that instead?

Even with all the omfgcodiscool perpetuated by teenagers, ill still rent it. I want to see how the story finishes. Cod is still kinda fun

Black Ops was a swindle. I want my money back. And there's no way I'll be mug enough to go back for more CoD bullshit. Cunts.

The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We should take nothing for granted.".... Eisenhower farewell speech, 1961
Black Ops = made by different people. So don't go whinging in this thread about how much you hated that. This means you too, Lazz. I don't wanna have to watch you be a little crybaby bitch over a video game. Get a hold of yourself. And don't complain about kids either, we have at least until Christmas to play with a bunch of adults before the kidstorm comes through(at least around here).
Mescal and myself pre-ordered this the day it was available. We both share a love for MW. They've supposedly worked on a lot of aspects, and I personally hope it's unfair as fuck and AC130s everywhere because that shit makes me jizz my pants.
At the end of the day black ops ended up taking everything bad from world at war, and the mw games, and mixing it together. I was extremely disappointed, because of the 2 mw games and waw, waw was probably my favourite. The map designs didn't look that bad though.
Edit: you could always just get it for pc if you don't want to play with 12 year olds.

Yeah, also I play on PC where voice chat is not the only means of comms and there are less 13 year olds. Also fuck y'all bitches, i made a thread for this to discuss this. If you wanna be rooting for the underdog that's fine and fuck off to the BF3 thread. Also, I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, only problem BO had is some guns are really spammy in MP and the performance issues on PC. BO zombies is stellar and there are a lot of folks who enjoy the MP(including me).
Finally just watched all those videos you posted. Land mines and ground drones :3
looksas shitty as black ops
I loved black ops. The storyline was intense and the multiplayer is fun.
MW2 was good too. I plan to get MW3 as well.
I just finished playing battlefield 3 open beta and it sucked balls. Like one of the worst shooters i've played. evar
Forgive my liberal use of cussing:
Its a beta, there's fucking holes the size of Jupiter in it's earth sized content. And it's still better that cock of duty modern gay warfag.
MW2 was pretty ordinary online. BO was worse. WaW was okay, and MW was good, of course this is speaking in terms of the online multiplayer.
The single player for MW2 was alright, but the coop missions were great fun.
Didn't play/can't remember the sp for the other 3 games.
Battlefield 3 is far better, even though the beta is riddled with CoD noobs. "Whats a medkit?" and "Whats a Q key?" are the sorts of thoughts I expect of a large portion of the beta community.

Probably, the reason why he hated it is not because of the bugs but because the avatar movement is downright primitive compared to cod, how the game is slower than what he likes, how the guns don't feel good enough or distinctive enough and so on. Stop pretending something you like must be liked by everyone. BF3 is not the ice cream that everyone likes, it's more like a well polished turnip. Also, how can you say that COD4 was 'good' and MW2 was average. I seriously don't know how you can like cod4 but dislkike mw2. Unless you're on PC and playing promod, that is. I'm not gonna start a debate about this, but COD is the most played game in the universe for a motherfucking reason, I REST MY CASE. Now go back to the BF3 thread and elaborate there while we continue to practice our love for COD on this side of the fence. BF3 and MW3 are not comparable, both of them are modern military shooters but one of them is a pseudo tactical realism shooter and the other is an arcade shooter.

From my personal real life experience of shooting a wide variety of different guns including an M4A2 and a FAL, I'd have to note that the guns in CoD shoot more realistically than those in BC2(which I'm guessing is Battlefield's more modern games).
Now I haven't played MW3 yet but I played the living shit out of MW2 and the guns in that were pretty close in terms of recoil and down-range view. Of course it's impossible to compare the guns in game vs. irl, there's only a few ways of describing the difference. The FAL is the best that I know of, which is why it's my favorite gun.
I don't expect everyone to like BF over CoD, and I'm glad they don't otherwise the beta community would be much worse and the release community just as bad.
I like to think CoD is the most played game for a few reasons too. Some of them being:
-CoD4 was fucking great online/in general
-The MW games were marketed like a boss
-MW games are available like a boss
-Fast paced gameplay in the last 4 CoD games
My problems with MW2 mostly, are extensions of some of my problems with MW. While I immensely enjoyed MW, there were some balancing issues with the guns, although they weren't so bad, but generally you had enough health to get by and make it about skill more than who spawned behind who. The health reductions and loss of some balancing for the idea of being more realistic might sound fun on paper, but I found it annoying, that the game became less about skill, and suddenly there was a portion of luck to factor in. Of course the team modes handled the spawn issue a little better, so I still enjoyed the team games for a while. But I suppose the biggest thing was that the games didn't feel any different, it felt like CoD4 had been patched.
However I might get MW3 at some point, not sure when though.
Edit: I'll give CoD this, it's more of a solo game, good for messing around and less serious, 1 person can make a team. In bf, at least in bc2 anyway, it was completely about the team, you can have 1 amazing player, and unless the team is in the right position most of the time, you still loose.

Yeah soloing is a big part of COD. But if a team can co-ordinate strike over voice, you can do some serious damage witha team in tactical modes and even TDM. Just try to go up against a clan and see how u'll get pwnd. COD is more reminiscent of a sport than other games, not because it's hardcore, but because it has all of these different things that go into and come out of games. You have all your guns, that DO feel different, you have these perks that change up your gameplay greatly, even the kind of lethal and tactical equipment you select can make a difference. And then in-game, the way you use your point streaks and the aformentioned equipment, on top of gun-on-gun kills makes it an extremely rewarding, diverse and long lasting experience.
Let me elaborate on the last point. In most games you get the tools you can work with pretty fast and then all you do is try to master the game. In COD after COD4 you have the chance to try new ways to play even long after you first started playing, it's almost like an MMO experience, and people love that. I do appreciate that BF3 will has a fuckton of unlocks, but if BC2 is any indication, half of those unlocks are just filler. And let me remind you that any unlcok bf3 might have merely fits under equipment or gun.
In MW3 you'll be able to take on the role of a person who just spits out support streaks that help the team solely, even the juggernaut suit for support has a riot shield and a motion sensor. Ontop of that you'll have folks trying to get the classic aggressive killstreaks and people running around with all the perks in the game. You'll have people using all kinds of equipment and counter equipment as if they had a counter spell to a spell in an mmo. When you get a killcam in COD, you inspect your enemies perks, their equipment, you wanna know what helped him kill you and that might affect how you arrange your classes. The gameplay can be frustrating, but it's the kind of frustrating that makes you keep on going.
And that is why I opened this thread, because there is reason for hype, the game has almost a decade long polish behind it.

whats up with the nuke being gone?
as terrible as the MW3 multiplayer looks, BF3 has such a terrible netcode that MW3 still looks like the only choice. BF3's gameplay is awesome and is probably going to be a very good single player but the beta multiplayer experience feels like it's a fucking alpha version.
And come on... DICE didn't fucking learn shit from experience or other devs, setting up the netcode on client-side hit registry opens the door wide fucking open for easy hacks/cheats. Shit feels fucking worse than sitting on a dildo-sized cactus without pants on.
