    Webcam not detected

    It's worked fine for almost a year and suddenly for no reason it won't accept the fact that there's an inbuilt cam in the monitor. It's really foxing me. I'd update the driver but it has vanished. Anyway to do it without reinstalling the driver? Stupid ninja webcam.

    I had a simular issue with my webcam where no matter what, even after reinstalling the drivers. Turned that when I disabled the built in mic, it also disabled my webcam. It could be the same issue here where you disabled something that shares the same hardware as the webcam.

    Or, you can always buy a new one.

    It's inbuilt in my monitor so I'd prefer to get it to work some how. My open mic works believe it or not. I didn't even know this thing had a fuckin mic, it's a desktop you see. I guess I'll head over to Dell's site and reinstall the driver. Hope that fixes it. Sorry for posting in the wrong section. Should have gone in Hardware, I suppose.
