Dude, you NEED to unlock the M95! With magnum ammo specialization it's a 1 shot kill most of the time even if you miss the head.
Also realistic bullet elevation makes those awesome shots just that much more awesome.

The only thing I despise in BC2 is the dumb cunt engineer who uses the Gustav launcher on infantry because they are too shit to fire the SMG accurately.
Sure I've done it, when I'm out of SMG ammo or I was going for a tank and got suprised by infantry and didn't have time to change weapon. But then you get these cunts that kill you with a rocket and then you watch the person who killed you sit there, reload and continue to camp aiming down the sights of his gustav.

But the Carl is a bunker buster/infantry killer. They're using it perfectly fine. Yeah, it kinda pisses you off when they do it, but they're doing it right. The third launcher does the real damage to vehicles.
Patch just came out today or last night that addressed some splash damage on weapons and other tweaks.

Looks like EA heard some of those complaints.Nerfs noticed so far -
M60 takes 6 shots to kill at range instead of 5
M1911 fires slower
Gustav and noobtubes splash damage have been reduced
If the enemy equips body armour and you land a 40mm grenade at their feet, they won't die, I mean directly under their feet.
If the enemy equips body armour and you land a Gustav (with explosive damage spec) next to their feet they won't die, you have to make it directly under their feet.
Slugs with pump action guns seem to have to be closer to 1 shot kill someone
Same with the M95, 1 shot radius reduced
Sniper rifles in Hardcore mode are no longer a 1 shot kill.
Buffs so far:
M14 and G3 range increase
Tracer dart has no red trail and travels faster
M93 pistol has been buffed
M1 Garand has gotten a tiny damage increase. Long range damage increased to 28 and range increased to 64.
LMGs have gotten all kinds of accuracy changes.
Well I have got the hang of this now. I have been playing as a sniper and now have the 95 sniper rifle and loads of kills and points. But so far the best I've got is 11 in one round. Anyway, better than what I used to get

I couldn't understand in this game how sometimes you could shoot people and they wouldn't die. It was a complete windup. Today I found out that I should be using HARDCORE mode 'cos that's the one where they drop when you hit 'em. I had no idea there was a difference like this.
