1337.com costs money to run. The vBulletin subscription, board hosting, online services such as the Shoutcast server and some board add-ons all need to be paid for. A direct donation is a much better way to show how much the board means to you and will help us keep running.

Every cent you donate goes directly to the running costs of the 1337.com board.

Donation medals will be awarded as follows:

Up to and including $US10 - Bronze donation medal
Up to and including $US25 - Silver donation medal
Up to and including $US50 - Gold donation medal
Up to and including $US100 - Platinum donation medal
Over $US100 - Titanium donation medal
Up to and including $US125 - Ruby donation medal

Please remember to include your board name with the donation details or send me a PM so I know who's donated.

NOTE: You can build up your donation amounts to earn new medals over time. For example, donate $10 now, then $20, then another $10 later and work your way up to the Titanium medal.

BONUS FOR THOSE DONATING $US25 OR MORE
As we need to encourage continuous donations to stay alive, anyone who donates $US25 or more to the board's PayPal account gets a 1337.com email forwarder for the life of the board or their account (You'll also get awarded the Bronze and Silver Donator's Medals).
If you are a Noob in the Sharkpool and you donate $US25 or more, you will be given an instant upgrade to the main board as well as the email forwarder.

FINE PRINT:
No refunds will be given. Please note that you are not "buying" anything but rather simply donating to the board for what you perceive you've already received as a service, not for what you expect to receive as future goods and/or services. We issue email forwarders and account upgrades simply as a way of showing our appreciation for your generosity.

If you get yourself perma-banned or decide to leave or go inactive for months then you'll lose it.

It must also be an address I agree with, and should ideally be your board nick, eg. runestone@1337.com but I'm open to suggestions.

If your account is upgraded through donating and subsequently downgraded again at a later stage, you will need to take the normal steps required to restore your access (increase your reputation points, wait for infractions to expire, etc).

You should get your parent's permission before using their credit card.
