It makes me happy to read that someone loves Oblivion as much as I do! I'm currently working on beating the Shivering Isles main quest, then I'm going to beat every other quest, then (as a self-reward) I'll start the Dark Brotherhood. And if I'm really feeling up to it, I'll find and explore every single cave, bandit hideout, etc in that game.
What level are you? I'm like 30 or something. And I have a ton of money, as well. When doing the quest where you pretend you want to be part of the Mythic Dawn, Harrow took all my money, which I wasn't expecting. So after I finished that quest, I spent several days stealing stuff and selling it to get the money back. I got it all back..then about a month later I randomly found Harrow outside of the Knights of the Thorn Lodge. So I killed him, and got that money back as well, so now I'm like..incredibly rich. Plus I always loot stuff so I never buy anything.

Yes, I very much enjoy Oblivion, though I admit I still like Morrowind better.
Ah, you're pretty much doing what I am doing backwards. I am waiting to do the shivering isles last (with the exception of the rest of the main quest, that will be very last) and I've already done every side quest I have been able to find (nirnroot and shadowbanish wine ones not finished), all the daedra quests, and am a master of all the guilds. I've also done all of the mod quests for the Knights of the Nine, EXCEPT the Knights of the Nine, which I recommend doing after thieves guild and dark brotherhood, as they will cause you to lose the knights equipment from being sinful.
Level 47 at the moment, almost level 48. I also have a book that will level me, but I'm waiting to use that. Yeah, I'm pretty rich too. Last I checked it was around 1,240,000 gold, but I have nothing to spend it on... so it just keeps piling up. Haha. =D
I haven't been playing too much the past week though, I actually did a decent amount today, just random dungeon diving.
Daggerfall sucked ___, but it never ceases to amaze me how much more Oblivion is like Daggerfall than it is Morrowind.

The Thieves Guild was the first thing I did. That was seriously the most amazing thing ever. I really liked how there were a bunch of small things you had to do that lead up to the huge last quest. And I liked how you were basically on your own on the last quest. I probably rely way to much on the quest guide, I kinda wish they made it a little more difficult to figure out the quests/find the places, but then again I'm rather-lazy so it's nice to have that as a guide.
Shivering Isles is amazing. I'm in awe of how awesome the graphics are, and how pretty the sky looks at night!! The quests are pretty cool, too. I completed all the side quests there before starting the main one and they were neat. Also, make sure you check out all the rooftops, there's some cool things up there!
I do like Morrowind, especially now that I have the boots of blinding speed. Makes it easier to get around. I just can't bring myself away from Obliv, though, so I don't play Morrowind that much. That, and my ex asked for it back the other week!! =[[[[[
Oh, and thanks for the tip on the Nights of the Nine. Guess that'll have to be my last thing to do instead of the Dark Brotherhood. I've been wanting to do the Dark Brotherhood for years now! I got approached almost immediately after starting the game, but I've been saving it for last, and it's driving me crazy!
Thanks Dickblo<3
Just set the active quest as a different quest but keep doing the quest you were doing. It won't tell you where to go anymore. It will still update the quest progress too.
I did a test run there (which I often do for quests) just to check what will immediately happen. So I went in, looked around slightly, and then reloaded. I needed to know what I was going to be getting myself into. I decided to wait, but it does indeed look awesome. Besides that, Sheogorath has been one of my favorite Daedric princes since Morrowind. Makes it irresistible.
I've beaten Morrowind so many times in so many ways it's not even funny. I typically have over 10,000 gold before ever leaving Seyda Neen. All legit. I know the game so well I can't even play it normally without being 'uber' too quickly. It kinda sucks because of that, but oh well, I still love the game. It would be amusing to see all the Telvanni running around trying to close oblivion gates in Vvardenfell. Haha. =D
You should go ahead and do it. I did the same thing with holding off on it, but you can get some really slick items that will definitely be of use to you in the rest of the game. Not only that, you get a certain horse...

It's Knights of the Nine.
I can assure you that you will enjoy the Dark Brotherhood quest-line. It is fantastic!
Also... Knights of the Nine sucks imo, but the last quest features the most epic thing in Oblivion i've seen...
EDIT: Don't read ANYTHING about the Dark Brotherhood, i mean guides and FAQs. You do not want it spoiled.
Bunnys are EXACTLY like Minotaurs! Except for a few things maybe...

At the moment, I'm playing TF2 and have just got into quake live... I think quake live is starting to take over though, TF2 is losing it's novelty.
