Sounds like ethics and Morals, something you'll never have a clue about.

There is no such thing as a standard out there, it's just psychological conformism. Everyone has his own "rules", "morals" and "ethics". These mostly just resemble, sometimes completely, sometimes partially. By saying you are just putting down the law, or the "standard" you are choosing what the standard is, or what the most people follow. This however is your opinion and view, they vary from person to person. I doubt you have clear proof that these "standards" really are the standards.
