Custom sprays for CS 1.6

I'll keep it short. If anyone knows how to make a custom spray in CS 1.6 post it here. I've downloaded wally and HLC and tried them both, and seen endless tutorials on the internet, but they all detail spray making for 1.5 (for which it was easy). I've seen it done many times, but I'm afraid I have never come across the secret. So come on, 1337s.

Ok, when using wally (what i use :mrgreen: )

Make an image, divisible by 16, i.e 64pixels by 64, 128,64 and so on.
Save it :P

Open wally.
Click Wizard - HL colour decal.
In the top box select your cs directory...should be something like
C:\program files\steam\steamapps\your@email.com\counter-strike\cstrike

Then in the lower box, select file from disk and load your file.

Then File - Save As then find your cstrike directory (as above) and save it as tempdecal.wad in there, then, change tempdecal.wad to read only to ensure it stays your spray even when u go into options.

Yup, I've done that countless times. Problem is that only works for 1.5, and not 1.6. I've heard you have to save stuff all over the place, change filenames... sounds like trouble. That's why I need help.

Sure u saved it as tempdecal.wad, because on 1.5 it was pldecal.wad... otherwise i dont understand wheer your going wrong :S Are you actually getting the image loaded on wally?

this is the best tutorial on the internet for custom CS sprays. i use this tutorial everytime i make a spray and they ALWAYS work.

it's so simple you'd have to be an asshole not to understand it.
