Buncha sequels have come out lately. It's driving me nuts over what I'm going to buy...
Post your opinions on them!

I wasn't sure wether to put this in PC Gaming or in 1337 consoles...it has some of both.

I havn't played it yet, but I would put my money on HL2. Screenies look pimp, the beta is awesome from what I hear and the story is coing to be awesome. I can't wait.

I would have to go with Halo 2, though I probably am sort of Biased. I mean, I never really got into Half Life and I don't think my mindset will change with Half LIfe 2. Metroid Prime was awesome, but I don't really think it was as good as Halo 2 either. And sense I have played Halo 2 it's save to say, damn. The game rocks, what can I say. And that's only the campaign, multiplayer is like a dream.

I think Halo 2 will be the biggest but I think I'll like Metroid Prime Echos the most. Maybe it's that my computer couldn't handle HL2, or that I don't have an Ecks-bawks for Halo 2... But I loved Metriod Prime , so yeah lol

PC gamer gave HL2 a 98%. Thats a really damn good score for PC gamer. There tough. Im gona be a geeky fan boy just once and but the $90 gold edition.

IGN Review of HL2, Apparently ti is the shit. I dont wanna be a fanboy, I loved Halo, and I even had the original metroid but I seriously think Half Life2 is gonna pwn all. I talked to a friend today who owns both, and he thinks Half Life is so much better than Halo. I jsut wish my comp could support it.

Have you ever PLAYED Metriod Prime? The game was awesome. Don't talk shit on it just because it's on the GCN.

even though im a gamecube freak id still say hl2, although mp2 looks [EDIT: APARENTLY IM GOING TO REGRET SAYING FOOKING SO ILL REPLACE IT WITH 'really'] amazing, played and eventually compete metroid prime 1 100% :lol: but this second one looks awsome, multiplayer looks so much fun, yeah hl2 will still own though, i dont need to write a description why...

As of today, I have played both Half life 2 and Halo2.
Both have weaknesses and strengths.
Half life 2 uses a very similar combat engine, but the gfx, weapons and all around style of the game is greatly different from teh first.
Halo2 has the same sort of style, some guns have changed but gameplay has massivley changed (dual wielding, new physics etc).
Overall, I would reccomend Half Life 2, it completley re-writes the genre and the AI is EXCELLENT!

Half Life 2 is my first choice but Halo is also pimp. I cant comment on Metroid as I have not played it nor have I seen any review for it.

There's a review of Metroid Prime II. Gamespot rates it a 9.1, and the forums rate it a perfect 10.
