that would take a lot of patience, and a lot of knowledge.......... therefore, no, i have not done this, but i know of how to mod my controller a little bit (i.e. changing it's color, and the jewel encased in the middle)

wtf?! i've read numerous articles on XBOX modding, and ive never heard of XBOX controller working for PC games,...
hmph
but you can mod the xbox controller to act as a usb boot device, port over some code from it and have an excelent linux xbox.

It is possible... Since the x-box ports are just moddified USB ports. Though it would be cheaper and easier just to get a good gamepad, I guess the satisfaction might be enough

so any xbox controller can just be cut, and spliced into a normal usb end connector, as long as you have the right wires going to the right places?
somehow, i'm sure you can get the memory card to work then right? then you can transferr thignsto and fro your computer? maybe.... am i right? or am i an idiot?

1 they arent that big
2 are there memory cards for the box?

Why don't you spend $8 on a PC gamepad instead of fucking a perfectly good $25 console pad?

all you'd need as far as drivers go is one that would work for a 10 button controller with 2 control sticks....... which i might add, is not easy to find, but IS out there somewhere........ god knows where

Would it be possible to put an Xbox controller on the PS2?
Think about it... they have the same buttons... except L2 and R2 are White and Black.
'Back' is Select...

u ahve a point tidous i have been trying to think of a way to make an xbox controller work on a ps2 but i am still ahving trouble. Ithink maybe someone would have to try to make an adapter of some sort and do soemthing like that nI think that it would be as easy as getting a ps2 to usb adapter and modding that to an xbox controller port or vice versa do u see what im saying here?

IF you have a dying controller, a home brew shot at trying to make it a PC one isn't so bad. I helped my friend make a modded controller for his PC. I saw it on G4 (I'm sorry.) and we did it with the program they used. Really good too. The cord broke though.
