Its coming. I get more ansy by the day. I think I may have to buy a new computer to handle it but it should be well worth it. Anyway, I know someone leaked the source code a while ago, and it wasnt quite finished but... does anyone know where to find it? linx plx?

I didnt see another post about HL2 but if there is one, flame the hell out of me.

HL2 IS GOLD! The relase date is NOVEMBER 16!!!

I was one of the many pepole hoping it would be out last year. To me, this is huge.

Just to go attempt to kill the "It's gonna be delayed" posts, I'll go ahead and say that the game is now 100% finished. VUG has given their approval. Everything is peachy. TRUST ME, it's coming out Nov. 16.

Well, for now I belive the only way you can purchase it is through steam, which has all info held on the valve servers. So, if you play a game you don't "own", you are probably gonna get in trouble. But maybe the version you buy in stores wont need steam and you can play to your hearts copright-infringing content.

I've heard that Counter-Strike source (the non-beta version) comes free with it. Is this true? If it isn't, I'm going to round you all up and boil you in mercury. :D

Yes. CS:S comes free with it. And unless I'm mistaken, if you get HL2 now on steam, you can play it. Now. Just not HL2.

I know I'm playing it right now, but I had an ATI voucher, so not 100% shure there.

I can't wait I've been waiting for half- life 2 scince half-life first came out i hope it still has high graphics and (comparatively) low system specs. like the first, in my opinion thats one of the things that made the first one great, because graphics don't matter if it won't run on your computer (like Doom 3)

Yeah HL2 is going to be able to run on the shittiest comps but the graphics are gonna be crappier but still wont require Watter and lighting effects shit likke Halo so you can play it all of you with crappy computers (me) and ittl still look leet! PC Gamer had a review for it and gave it a 98%! The 2% got knocked of because even though the great AI it still is a little messed up at some parts.

just sayin hunter that pic of ayame on your avatar looks really hot but anywayz i havent played half life 2 beofre i recently deownloaded the demo for it and think its shit WHY DO THE MILITARY GUYS HATE YOU SO MUCH? geez and who gave stupid a rocket launcher? but oh no watch out for the face hugger wanna bees and dawn of the dead rejects you sould get a shitgun in the demo not just an mp5 and a pistol thats retarted and plus the sound os no thtat good
