DDR?

Does anyone here play DDR, or is that not 1337?

I play it a lot. I can do 3 ten-footers with no mods and double-A anything from medium nine-footers down.

I hate DDR. Was so stupid when I tried it out. Stepping around is not entertainment to me.

I take it (usually) on game per system at a time. I am playing Dynasty Warriors 4 (again) on PS2 and D2 on the PC. I played SSX 3 and GTA VC and MGS EIS. Also like custom robo and Warcraft 3 and countless others. Sorry, but I really hate DDR.

I have a friend though, he's sweden's best DDR player...

He can do all the trickiest songs on hardest level with both eyes closed and backwards on the made when the arrows disappears...

He's like, teh Dance Dance Revolutionist...

Never played it, but I've heard it's pretty fun. I've also heard it is pure evil... I should probably try it some time and *gasp* form my own opinion! Yeah, I know, that's rare for me.

I lof DDR. I really, really do. If it weren't an inanimate object, I'd marry it. It combines a few of my favorite things: games, loud music, and jumping around like a doofus. It really hurts when you fall off the mat, and it's embarassing when you're doing really well and then all of a sudden fall on your ass, but other than that, it's pretty cool. It's a lot more fun than it looks, especially when you really start to like the music. Some of those songs are addictive...

DDR is pretty cool, if i am bored and have nothing better to do,I will hook my PS2 Dancepad up to my SmartJoy Plus PS2 to USB pc converter, connect my tv to my vid card via svideo, and run STEPMANIA and play until my lazy ass doesn't feel like moving anymore which usually takes about 15 minutes.

it does not come with songs, but search around and you should be able to download soundpacks, people make their own songs oto some of which are pretty cool, but if you know where to look you cna download DDR mixes ;)

DDR is the best game other than Half-life 2 and Halo 2 but i have it for both PS2 and XBOX and i wouldnt have it any other way. Im actually thinking about getting a real metal pad the ones for xbox that u just plug in, but they are really expensive the cheapest i have found them is $250.00. what versions do u guys play? I think that the arcade is ten times better that the home version.

Yah, man, DDR way rocks. I have some DDR400 on me right now. It's way better than those crappy old SDRAM cards, but DDR2 is better.

You can get a USB adapter for your DDR pad thing. you can also download something called stepmania and add songs and stuff... im pretty good at DDR, although the concept gets old very fast, i just dont find the fact of stepping around on a pad fun anymore. Id rather play FPS with a gun at the arcade or something, rather than dancing... but thats my opinion.

My school actually has a DDR Study Hall. You can have it instead of lunch period. Everybody gets together and competes during school hours. Tell me that's not cool.

That's not cool, DDR is just organized siezures. But really, when i play DDR, my friends are just like "only hit the up arrows! you'll learn!! " and i cant hit the up arrows.....ill be like too many arrows! (when theres only like 3 on the screen) and then ill try some stupid dance move that i saw some dude do on maniac.....and i will die.

Ive played DDR and the only thing that keeps me playing is the fact that i want to get better than my friend Dave to make if mad.
other than that i think the game sucks..stepping on a bunch of arrows to stupid techno music..not my idea of fun
