The fact it's called Australian National University sort or makes me think that to Australia it's like our Yale or Harvard. In which course, yeah, I'd hope people care.

If, of course, it's more like a state universty, then that's still pretty much a pwnage.

I'll backpedal (love that word Toddy) a bit and say that a majority of forum users here at 1337.com don't particularly care about the religion threads here anymore, as they appear to just be forms of flamebait, and get less and less intellectual and more and more vicious as the thread progresses. Hence the BOLDED 'Noone Cares' and the NOT BOLDED 'University'. I wasn't trying to say anything about a university - merely commenting on the fact that IC sounds like a tightassed 'know it all' professor in many of the religion threads he posts in. And that no one (now) cares about (generalisation).

I'll have to say though, that both IC and Hacky went off topic - I created this thread in the knowledge that I'd recive replies about the video I posted - Which I also said, tounge in cheek (I think I obviously have to SPEEELLL THIS OUT for the kiddies) that our resident Christian-bashing Knight of 1337.com would enjoy.

Though, I am impressed at particularly IC's response.... and it's lacking in any Christian-bashing, despite this thread being about....Christians and other related (or not so, for some) matters.

Can we keep it on topic now?

P.S. Gratz Todd for getting into your Programming thing @ ANU. You've put in the hard yards (if such things exist) in your Programming last few years - you deserve it.

I don't understand the point of the video in relation to the religion topics. It proves nothing other than that many religions do beg for money and get tax benefits from it and they have become bastardized self-richeous forms of service, their followers merely zombies going through the motions week after week. What does this have anything to do with IC's Christian bashing?

Admittedly, over the last 2(?) days that I have returned to somewhat regular posting to 1337.com, I have posted, possibly MORE about non-IC related topics, than those that are related. I suggest you get your facts straight before making such accusations.
