p.s. Animal cruelty happens 100% times in nature. Animals slaughter each other every day, hell have you ever seen what an elephant does to an animal that attacks it? It's hundreds of times worse than what's been done in that video.
The only difference between them and us, is that we make fur coats out of those animals.

I'm not really for or against, it's just another unnecessary thing that we do. For some very select groups of people its still a way to keep warm...but for most people it's just a status symbol nowadays.
Edit: After viewing the video that is pretty cruel and unusual. Somebody should do that to a few handlers and see how they like dieing slowing after there bones have been shattered

Only if you if you do a damn good job at the leather tanning process because if no then that would be a crime onto itself. But if you can get away with it then yes you can.
But you still need a permit to kill cretin animals used to make fur products. You just don’t go out into the wild and shoot the first animal you see.

Come on man, factory slaughter is not natural in any way. What you are saying is like claiming past genocides aren't so bad since people killing one another is natural. Ever see what a gang or cereal killer does to their victims?
The methods of killing the animals are obviously brutal to a point that makes me laugh. I get angry, and I love animals. Killing the animals can be methodical. The reason for obvious abuse and the treatment they receive must be going over my head.
I don't have any fur coats or leather jackets, but I've got suede shoes and leather shoes. I don't abstain from animal hide and the means of acquiring it are no different from factory farming, which I'm sick of arguing over.

The difference here is we're making use what we kill. Genocides are usually done out hatred or spite. We don't hunt down white snow rabbits and eradicate them off the face of the earth just because we don't like how their ears look.
Comparing the fur industry to a genocide doesn't hold any ground since the animals we use to make these products are still alive and continue to live because of measures we ensure to make sure there is still a breeding population.

Were not trying to kill all the animals for the sake of not having them here, that's genocide. [I also think the word genocide means to kill one's genus, in other words people killing rabbits isnt' genocide by definition].
Now, I might possibly be more agreeable with this if they used everything from the animal, just just beat the crap out of it, skinned it and left it to die. Logically speaking it may not be completely dead after skinning it.
I'm guilty of the habit that as long as I don't see it, it's not there. I know the animals we eat are not killed in very friendly ways, yet I continue to eat them. For instance Purdue Farms leaves the light on 24 hours a day because chickens will eat as long as the "sun" is out. Then they electrocute them to kill them, and sometimes it doesn't kill them and they get sent through the processors anyway.
I think it's important to draw the line between natural and unnatural. NO other species kills more than it needs to survive. They live sustainable, we do not.
Also, most animals that are caught for there fur (except the large-rare ones: Tigers, Polar Bears etc.,) are raised on a farm. They don't send hundreds of Asians into the woods to find the rabbits, they breed them.
Come to think of it, I'd have no problem with it at all if they would kill the animals first.

There you go, putting words into my mouth.
1. I said it happens in nature. Last I recalled, it doesn't need to be natural to happen in nature. In other words, us paving over forests for new cities is unnatural, but it still happens in nature. In other words, the wild.
2. People killing one another is natural. We are animals, and animals kill each other. Animals are obviously not intelligent enough to create small arms and nuclear weapons to do it.
3. Don't gaf.

I'm mostly refering to the people who refuse to wear anything related to fur at all because the animals are "abused". It really isn't a particular complaint about anybody here, but like people who flip out and act like it is the most suprising thing in the world and all fur should be banned, leather shouldn't be worn either, etc. It's mostly just the tree hugging vegitarians I hate about it, but then the people who aren't tree hugging vegitarians and STILL bitch about stuff like this are even worse.

How do you feel you're right?
Man abuses an animal, and gets killed for it? What part of 'humans are the top of the food chain' do you not understand? How about humanity working together for our self interest. If we work against one another society will crash and the entire race will die off slowly.
The life of any animal is below the life of a human. This is a moral that humanity has lost over time, and we put the cute and furry creatures above ourselves.
In the end, a squirrel is a fucking squirrel no matter how "nearly extinct" it is, but a single human can change the lives of thousands.

No one is asking you to buy or ware fur. They're in no way shape or form inhibiting on your very existence unless you choose it to. These are not thoughtless killings as what is being killed is being put to use. If instead they were killing animals and not making use of of their kill then that's just a fucking waste.
But before you spout out about then it should be ok kill people so long as we make use of the kill, remember that in order to hunt an animal you need a permit and can only hunt certain animals at certain times of the years.

- Dont live in a normal home. (Igloo perhaps?)
- Go live free and naked in nature with all the animals.

Have you seen the new release, "Hannibal Rising,"; some prequel that explains Lecter's origins? I'm not too keen on picking it up, not so much because "Hannibal" itself was a disappointment, but since I generally hate when the author completely removes the air of mystery around a character.
