Remember Red Alert?

I know there are the new command and conquer games out there, but does anyone remember or even play the old school red alert? Not the second one, or tiberian sun, but red alert... if you used to and then switched to XP, heres a patch to patch it into XP so you can play, it will get rid of that Invalid

HECK YES! OLD SKOOL BABY! I used to play Red Alert ALL day when I was a little kid. Omg those were the days. I loved Red ALert, I could pwn anyone... Man I loved Red Alert. *Gets his CDs again and installs it* YAY! :D

ya, i had XP and couldn't play it in forever, and then I found the patches and played, and it rocked...

It was my life back when I was about 7 or 9 or somethin, all I would do is build up, build my base to all over the place in that first map, build other bases, connect them, put random sam sites here and there, build walls to make it look like a city, then build TCs around the outside edge and it was impenetrable, then I would build alot of hinds and annihilate the enemy bases

Red Alert was great. Way more fun than the orginal C&C. Sometimes I would build a stirght line of tessla coils right to the enemy base maing an impenitrable wall of death. Or if there was water I'd creat and uber bad ass navy of ass whooping.

Red Alert 2 was decent, but with Yuri's Revenge it was almost as good if not as goood as Red Alert.

If I wanted a navy, I always took the allies side, made a little base, a couple of gunboats, a couple f anti-air ships, and then flooded the map with heavy cruisers, those pwn3d the shit out of anything that existed to attack me, including trees

I love RA I used to build like 4 walls around my base then use the Jet Planes (w/e they were called) and just bomb the hell out of my opponent lol.
