ok there was this thing and whower sent it to me so i look at it and open it it says run this program it ran it and all the ppl on my buddylist got sent this msg a link that started it my comp lagged like ass and it took me a half hour to fix. the link was sumthin like killingtime.aupr.net or sumthin and it ran this EXE and it was like a picture virus who the fuck even coded this? i had 2 restart 3x and run in safe mode wait 15 mins for system restore to appear and finally go back 2 days

Run that, and disable anything that looks suspicious. If you're not sure, submit your HijackThis list here and someone can tell you what to disable.
Also, go to Start>Run> type "msconfig".
Choose selective startup, then click the "Startup" tab.
Once again, disable anything that looks suspicious.

I got the same thing from Whower, and it's pretty easy to understand when the link is garbled like it was, and not the sense of a really long url, and it tries to download an exe, it's bad.

So I waited, and then Whower comes on and is like "MOFG, virus"

yea atleast scan it first, same thing happened to a friend of mine he got a real nasty one, my advice dont dl anything unless you know the person, also that it not something that is sending itself as them. This is no need to fight though i mean you did get it cleared, maybe ask nicely if someone sent you anything instead of titling the thread "Whos the Bitch" after titling it that you cant aspect to get many positive responses.
