Actually there are diffrent types of dyslexia, some effect your ability to write and read, some effect your speech, and sometimes it effects just your ability to write. I have a friend with dyslexia, can read fine, but can't spell anything.

Even if you are dyslexic and have trouble writing, a dyslexic person realizes to use periods at the ends of sentences and capital letters generally go at the beginning.

I used to have a lot of trouble spelling too, but there are ways to get past it, even if you're catigorized as dyslexic. Dyslexia shouldn't really effect typing in any major way, and the fact of the matter is that people are diagnosed with dyslexia when they have trouble reading/speaking/spelling/etc and they are generally quite intelligent otherwise.
