lmfao
Do the ''rare candy'' cheat get all your pokemon up to 100
Or get Missingno as one of your pokemon

You have to use all the vitamins if you want to have strong pokemon.
Use the rare candy trick for vitamins. Then level up.
You'll be the rock.

Ah typical 1337.com users who just go againt the grain for the sake of being unique.
Pokemon was superb, i played it constantly, watched the TV show and collected the full base set card list. Oh and i was 15/16 at the time.
Just superb

tizight, im not alone in my enjoyment of pokemon...whew...
anywho, rare candies sux0r...u DO realize that u only increase ur stats by like 60% or sumthin if you use a rare candy compared to if you had trained by getting exp...anyways, we arent allowed missingnos...mew isnt allowed either...mewtwo is allowed in the 10 dollar buy in, but theresa smaller 5 dollar tourny that bans mewtwo...hes just so fucking broken...

That's just so fucking weak.
I could easily fuck up Mewtwo with my Alakazam or Chansey. Easily.

The concept and premise of Pokemon is evil, and influencing to all weak minds.
GOTTA CATCH EM ALL!!
The game's were actually good though.
Movies, show, and cards sucked.
Game boy rpgs were good though.
But I stopped playing them 7 years ago.

I only liked Pokemon Red & Blue. None of the cards games, the TV shows, that crapp-assed spin off games, I was perfectly content with the 151 (153 is you count MissingNO and Yoshi). After that I'm just bleh. Silver & Gold wasn't that bad, but after that I'm like "Oh well, fuck that". The concept was good, was never really compelled to catch them all, just catch and train the ones that would whoop ass.

trust me, you make mewtwo right and there is no way...his special is just too high...sure u can prolong things by having a tank like chansey, and perhaps even win if mewtwo wastes al his pp, but with alakazamt heres no chance, his defense is way too low and wuld be an easy one or two hit KO...

Damn straight.
Now how do you know these release dates?
I did a quick go ogle search on the release date of Pokemon red.
http://gameboy.ign.com/objects/009/009846.html?fromint=1
The franchise arrived in the west in 1998 as Pokemon Blue and Red (Ronald Dal holds the copyright for "Pocket Monsters" in the west, so the title was changed to the Japanese colloquial name)
What year is it now? 2005.
How long ago is 7 years ago? 1998
Where was I living in 1998? Las Vegas, NV
Where is Nevada? The WEST side of the us.
Yea, I stopped playing it the same year I got the game.

No im affraid your mistaken. If you watch the Pokemon Movie video/DVD it shows you in the extras bit all about how pokemon came around. Im 100% it was shown to the public in 1999 in Japan then a release late 1999 early 2000.
So no, your source is wrong.
