NXE
So, if you have an Xbox and happen to boot it up today, you noticed that you have a large download followed by a vast interface change. This is the NXE, or New Xbox Experiance.

I'm not sure what MS was going for here. I loved the "blades" layout. It was simple and easy. Now, I don't know what's what. They seem to have spread stuff out for no other reason then to bring attention to things that people didn't care about in the first place, most of all the TV shows and movies. And what the ____ were they thinking with avatars? I mean, beyond "lets copy the Wii".

MS was so ____ing sold over their own system, they compared it to color TV. Sorry MS, but this is not as big as color TV. Shut the ____ up.

I like the new layout. I also like the new "Party" system where you all can talk with each other even if you're all not in the same game. (I know they had a private chat option before, but it's easier to get to now imo)

My God, it looks like it was designed for 8 year old girls who enjoy playing with Barbie dolls. Does it come with a free "My Little Pony" game?

Let's hope the PS3 stays professional and slick. It's the only serious console left.

I'm sorry, I thought this was a console war. I didn't realize that putting the dedicated 'hardcore' minorities over the casual majority was actually business wise. That's why the PS3 and 360 are currently winning the console wars, right?

personally i like the new update as well, but they did definately copy wii for the avatars.(coincidence that this release was made on the 19th of november? the wii? released on the 19th of november as well) i played around with it for a bit, and it is definately user friendly, with some great new features. no netflix for me though. we dont get fancy things like that way up north here.
