Xbox to play snes games?

So I've got this old XBOX sitting in my room, and I heard from some friends last night that with minimal software modification you can set it up to play snes games, or as a media center. So I've been looking for modding sights and the like, but I'm having trouble finding what I am looking for.

So if there is anyone out there that has done this personally or knows of the modding sights that actually have useful information, I would be honored to be privy to said information.

You're basically putting an emulator on your xbox.

man, buy an wired XBOX 360 controller and just dl emus and roms, i got a modded xbox with 40 xbox original games on it(paid 500 bones 4 years ago for it. its now fried). plus AALLLL (il willl prove it) nes games and like 80 snes games, but lately i have been jsut DLing 64 games on my comp (with the project 64 emulator)

ill send you links... dont waster your time modding your black xbox when your comp can do it for free

I have a softmodded xbox and I have a disk that contains every single game for:

NES
SNES
SEGA MASTER SYSTEM
SEGA GENESIS
ATARI 2600
ATARI 5200

a bunch more obscure systems.



Btw, when I say every game, I mean EVERY game. Often including multiple versions of each game (different localizations, versions, hacks, etc).

I can't seem to find the torrent outside of Blackcats (and I've got no invites right now), but we open the registration every once in a while, so you can check it out.



Edit: Maybe I'll even copy the disk and upload an ISO torrent to demonoid or something. If there's interest.

ya man me too, i got a ____load of hacks (some make me laugh, like playing the little mermaid when she is in the nude)

i was loading up genesis games but then my c drive ____ing blew up, so i gotta play what i play now, mines a hardmod, i heard softmods work well though
